BARSILO.aiAI grain storage monitoring & advisory

Your elevator already has the data.
BARSILO.ai turns it into foresight.

An AI advisory layer that installs over your existing PLC/SCADA — no new sensors, no cabling, no downtime. It predicts grain self-heating and equipment failure, guards every alarm against human error, and answers your operators from the facility's own technical documentation.

See it working

Live views from the BARSILO.ai interface: real-time thermal state of every silo, maintenance driven by actual run hours, and an AI assistant that knows your equipment.

What it does

Up to 25 deterministic, fully explainable metrics — every alert traces to a stated formula and your facility's own historical baselines. No black boxes.

Predictive temperature analytics

Self-heating is detected statistically — each sensor against its own depth cohort — and every developing hot spot gets a days-to-threshold forecast: measured lead time for aeration or transfer, before thresholds are crossed.

Equipment failure prediction

The system learns each machine's normal current and run pattern, and flags atypical behavior long before breakdown. Maintenance is scheduled by actual run hours, not the calendar.

Alarm management against human error

An accepted alarm is frozen; if the condition worsens or fails to improve within a configurable window, a new-generation alert is raised automatically. Unresolved warnings escalate. The event journal is permanent.

Management information & economics

Live grain inventory, daily receiving / drying / shipping summaries, dryer fuel data, operating-economics indicators and mass-balance reconciliation — a permanent operational record for owners and managers.

On-premises AI assistant

Grounded in your facility's own equipment library, it answers operators in their own language, shows drawings, knows the live state of the site, and gives instant troubleshooting and emergency-response guidance. All facility data stays on-premises. Metric and imperial units; multilingual interface.

How it deploys

1 · CONNECT

A read interface to your existing PLC/SCADA — thermometry, drives, scales, level gauges, dryers. Nothing replaced, nothing interrupted.

2 · LEARN

The system ingests your equipment documentation and builds per-sensor and per-machine baselines from your site's own history.

3 · ADVISE

Operators get forecasts and guided alarms; managers get inventory, economics and a permanent record. From 15 days to live.

Optional add-on sensing — weighing, grain moisture, computer vision — integrates at deployment where deeper coverage is wanted.

First commercial sale — 2026: a 40,000-tonne (≈1.47M bu) grain terminal in Kazakhstan, one of the world's top-ten wheat exporters. Scope: about 1,800 sensors over the terminal's existing automation. The same software installs at any automated grain facility, scaled to its sensors and signals.
